at the time thispicture was taken in 1959.The year is 1959 just before Midge and George Gifford drove to San
Diego, CA.from New Jersey.George Gifford (Midge's husband) was in
the Navy and got orders he wouldbe stationed out there in San Diego, CA.They drove to their location in their car with their 2 children.Midge passed away a year later from a bad heart. She died on June 1, 1960while out in CA. (Balboa Hospital) undergoing open heart surgery, her secondheart operation in 5 years.This is Midge ( Alice Lorraine Gifford) and her 2 sons, George Jr. and
Jimmy Gifford.Midge was 28 years old here, George Jr. was 6 years old, and Jimmy was onlyabout 4 or 5 months old.Mom Holmes and her sister, Eva Adair,
are also in the picture.
